ProofIT’s integrated, domain-specific test automation solution for Air Traffic Management systems has received the prestigious Seal of Excellence from the European Commission following evaluation under the Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator programme.
We are proud to announce an important milestone for ProofIT and our work in Air Traffic Management testing.
Our ApprovAir project – “Integrated, domain-specific test automation solution for Air Traffic Management systems” – has been recognised as a high-quality project proposal by the European Commission after a highly competitive evaluation process conducted by an international panel of independent experts. The proposal was submitted under the Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator Open 2025 call.
As a result of this evaluation, the project received the Seal of Excellence, with which the European Commission indicates that it recommends the project for funding from other sources.
Modern Air Traffic Management systems are becoming increasingly complex and interconnected. Frequent changes, multiple vendors, diverse technologies and safety-critical operational requirements all make comprehensive system-level regression testing increasingly challenging.
ProofIT’s solution has been developed specifically to address these challenges.
Our ATM System Test Tool is a domain-specific test automation platform designed to enable vendor- and technology-independent functional and regression testing across integrated ATM environments.
Rather than requiring domain experts to adapt their testing approach to individual technologies or supplier-specific solutions, the platform is designed to help them focus on what matters most: validating the behaviour of the complete ATM system from an operational perspective.
The goal is to make testing more repeatable, scalable and efficient while supporting the level of confidence required when introducing changes into complex ATM environments.
Receiving the Seal of Excellence is an important external recognition of both the quality of the ApprovAir project proposal and the potential of our ATM testing innovation.
The European Commission certificate confirms that the proposal successfully passed a rigorous assessment by independent international experts in a highly competitive evaluation process.
We are extremely proud of the developers, domain experts and colleagues whose expertise and dedication contributed to reaching this milestone.
More importantly, this recognition reinforces our commitment to helping the aviation industry address a fundamental challenge: how to test increasingly complex ATM systems efficiently without compromising reliability, traceability or confidence in every new release.
