As of August 2026, ProofIT is officially a member of CANSO, the global industry association bringing together air navigation service providers, ATM specialists and leading aviation innovators. The membership marks an important step in ProofIT’s continued commitment to supporting safer, more efficient and more future-ready Air Traffic Management through advanced test automation.
ProofIT is proud to announce that it officially became a member of CANSO – the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation – in August 2026.
CANSO brings together air navigation service providers, technology companies and ATM specialists from around the world, creating a global platform for cooperation, knowledge sharing and industry development. For ProofIT, joining this community is a natural next step in a journey that has increasingly focused on the challenges of modern Air Traffic Management.
Through our work with ANSPs, system manufacturers, integrators and aviation professionals, we see the same trend across the industry: ATM systems are becoming more interconnected, more dynamic and more dependent on software-driven change. That evolution creates enormous opportunities – but it also raises the bar for testing.
For us, membership is about more than visibility. It is an opportunity to participate more closely in the professional dialogue around the future of ATM, contribute our experience in automated system testing, and learn directly from organizations addressing some of the industry’s most complex operational and technological challenges.
CANSO membership provides access to industry workgroups, events, knowledge-sharing opportunities and its wider international member community. These connections are particularly valuable as the ATM ecosystem moves toward increasingly modular, interoperable and service-oriented architectures. The more interconnected the system becomes, the more important it is to ensure that every change can be validated reliably across the complete operational environment.
ProofIT develops a domain-specific ATM System Test Tool designed to support automated functional and regression testing across integrated ATM environments. Our approach focuses on enabling domain experts to create and execute repeatable system-level tests without being constrained by individual technologies or vendors.
This is becoming increasingly relevant as ATM organizations adopt new capabilities while continuing to operate and integrate existing systems. ProofIT’s recent industry engagements have highlighted a consistent message: as the pace and complexity of change increase, regression testing needs to scale with them.
By joining CANSO, we look forward to contributing this testing perspective to broader discussions around digital transformation, interoperability, operational resilience and the future architecture of ATM.
Our CANSO membership also builds on ProofIT’s growing involvement in the international ATM community. During 2026, our team participated in CANSO-related industry events and discussions alongside ANSPs, technology providers and system integrators. These conversations reinforced how important collaboration is when addressing challenges that no single organization can solve in isolation. Becoming an official member gives us an opportunity to deepen those relationships and contribute more consistently to the community.
The transformation of Air Traffic Management will depend not only on developing new technologies, but also on proving that they can work safely, reliably and consistently within increasingly complex operational ecosystems.
